Increase your core strength

A six pack is great, but so is having strong core muscles. So why not work to achieve strong core and in the process, you may be rewarded with the beloved six pack.

Strong core muscles are an integral part of overall strength and physical productivity.

Building up these central muscles will help stabilizes the torso and supports great posture and balance. Furthermore, strong core can prevent or lower back pain and injury. Strong core can improve workouts effectiveness, sports performance and other physical activities.

With all these great benefits, along with the added benefit of a six pack, building strong core should be a significant part of everyone’s workout regimen.

So, go ahead and challenge yourself with these six core exercises. They are easy and simple, but effective and can even be done at home.

All you need is less than 30 minutes to do this core circuit. Grab a timer, or your phone, a mat and some comfortable workout gears (see VCB FIT options) and go for it.

20s Front Plank

20s Bicycle Crunch

20s Side Plank

20s Deadbug

20s Reverse Crunch

20s Cross Body Isometric Deadbug

Rest: 3 minutes

Round II:

20 second Front Plank

20 second Bicycle Crunch

20 second Side Plank

20 second Deadbug

20 second Reverse Crunch

20 second Cross Body Isometric Deadbug

Ps: if you are feeling good and is up to the challenge, you can perform a third round.
