As an athlete, for most of my life, I am fortunate to be involved in a consistent exercise routine for over two decades. Exercise helps me feel alive and energetic from the inside out and I cannot imagine my life without this daily activity.

Exercise is also an effective way to maintain youthfulness for decades as it slows down the aging process.

Research shows that thirty minutes of aerobic exercise, such as walking, running or swimming three to five times per week can help alleviate depression and contribute to better mood.
